Layton and Trent - Nature Child (ft Josie Rika) (Thanks to Donald McLeod for this One) After seeing Donald's collection of Peter Posa records, Peter realised it was the most comprehensive collection of PP records in the world. So he gifted Donald some very rare items to add to the collection. 'Nature Child' was composed, arranged and produced by Peter Posa and is nothing like any of his other recordings. The target audience for this one would have been Prog Rock Hippies. Recorded in 1976 but never released, due to being caught up in the process of Peter changing record labels, it was only ever pressed by Zodiac on this one off demo 7 inch. The singers are 'Layton & Trent' (Greg Layton and Mike Trent) with 'Josie Rika' rockin' it out on the chorus. The Pedal Steel Guitar was played by 'Red McKelvie'.
Tex Grbic - Rose (Can I Share A Bed With You) 'Rose' was composed, arranged and produced by Peter Posa and was a huge hit for 'Toni Williams' in 1976. But did you know that the original version was sung by 'Tex Grbic' (Edward Hilton Grbic) of Henderson, NZ. Both Tex and Toni used the same backing track with slightly different mixes. This version by Tex is a lot more traditional country sounding where as Toni gave it his crooner style. Tex was unknown and the record company wanted a sure bet with a known singer, so Peter chose 'Toni Williams'. It worked commercially, but among the few that have had the privilage of hearing Tex's version, there's a huge appreciation for the unknown 'Tex Grbic'. 'Josie Rika' who sung the chorus of 'Nature Child' (above) can be heard doing backing vocals on both these versions.

Peter Posa Blues Jam - Rooster's Blues This unreleased recording is a jam that happened in the studio during the 'Rose' session. Peter and the band were mucking around with ideas for a B-side.
